Sheffield Woodland Workshop

We’re running a summer of free events across Yorkshire, giving families from all backgrounds a chance to join immersive free family workshops to help you have your voice heard by politicians on the local issues that matter to you.

On the 1st of August, meet us in Ecclesall Woods, Sheffield, next to the woodland discovery centre, for a fun, family friendly, day out that will get you and your kinds connecting with nature.

Join us at 10.30am for a free woodland workshop providing children the chance to play in nature, and adults the chance to explore how to make political change and learn new skills in engaging with politicians to advocate for pilocies that work for you and your family.

Our events have been designed with accessibility as a priority and are tailor made to be a welcoming space for disabled children.

Due to funding from the National Lottery we are also able to cover travel costs for each family attending either after the day or in-advance if helpful.

We'll meet everyone next to the woodland discovery centre. The workshop will start at 10.30 so please arrive at 10.20 and we can make sure is is ready to go on time.
