Digital Communications and Campaigns Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

This role is a 6 month temporary contract working 21 hours per week.

We’re seeking an experienced digital marketer and communicator with:

  • Proven experience delivering digital marketing campaigns and growing audiences across WordPress, social media, and email platforms (like Ticket Tailor/EcoSend).

  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data or climate policy into inspiring, accessible content that drives individual giving.

  • Strong campaign and platform management skills to lead initiatives like the Big Give and design strategies that increase user uptake for our Climate Connect platform.

  • An organised, flexible approach to managing multiple priorities and collaborating naturally within a small, passionate team.

  • A positive, creative problem-solving mindset.

  • Passion for tackling climate change and inspiring people to engage in advocacy

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience in individual giving, marketing digital platforms or apps, or an understanding of UK climate policy and the political system.

  • Experience supervising freelance staff or managing external technical web developers.

This role is perfect for a strategic thinker and storyteller who thrives on making an impact, values collaboration, and can bring energy, focus, and resilience to our team by driving both our public campaigns and platform growth.

For our ideal candidate, we prioritise ambition, energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn, over ticking all the boxes!

Salary: Grade 3 £32,328 per annum (£19,396 pro-rata for 21 hpw)

Contract Type:  6 months fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover, with the potential for extension subject to funding.

We will consider applications for remote-working from across England, Scotland and Wales - some travel to Sheffield will be required.
